- Instrument Overview
By measuring the power, voltage, and current of a semiconductor laser, students gain an understanding of its operational characteristics during continuous output. Using the WGD-6 optical multichannel analyzer, students observe the fluorescence emitted when the laser’s injection current is below the threshold, as well as the spectral line changes resulting from laser oscillation when the current exceeds the threshold.
