- Instrument Overview
The SGN-3 Optical Power Meter utilizes a high-quality PIN photodiode as its light receiver, enhancing the instrument’s sensitivity to light radiation to 0.1 μW. It serves as an optical power meter for the 400 nm to 1100 nm wavelength range.
Since the response of the detection element to light of different wavelengths is non-linear, the instrument is configured with calibration outputs corresponding to four wavelengths: 514 nm, 532 nm, 632.8 nm, and 650 nm.
This instrument can communicate with a host computer via serial and USB interfaces to send measurement data for processing, and can be used as a basis for corresponding application development.
