- Instrument Overview
The SGN-2 Optical Power Meter is capable of measuring the output energy of various lasers, including gas lasers, solid-state lasers, and dye lasers, within the 400 nm to 1050 nm wavelength range. After calibration at various wavelengths, it can measure energy at any wavelength (currently calibrated at 632.8 nm). This optical power meter utilizes a high-quality silicon photodetector, which enhances the instrument’s sensitivity.
