- Instrument Overview
The system consists of a light source, a diffraction plate assembly, a detection unit, a computer, software, and an A/D converter. Experimental results are displayed via the computer interface. It can be used as an accessory for the GSZ-2 optical stage or as a standalone experiment.
- Product Features
· Photodetectors measure light intensity
· High-precision displacement sensors—linear encoders measure displacement
· Accurately and quantitatively measures the distribution of diffracted light intensity
· Data acquisition and processing are controlled by a computer
· Measurement results can be compared with theoretical formulas
Selected project under the World Bank-funded Higher Education Reform and Development Project
- Experiment Content
1. Verify the patterns of how diffraction intensity varies with experimental conditions in single-slit, multi-slit, multi-aperture, and multi-rectangle diffraction experiments
2. Used for experiments to determine other light intensity distributions
